Sean Ross is the Founder of Stonyridge Ingredients, bringing nearly two decades of commercial leadership, technical manufacturing insight, and global supply expertise to the performance and functional nutrition sector.

 

Sean entered the nutrition industry in 2007 with a leading ingredient distributor representing multinational producers. As a former collegiate athlete with a firsthand appreciation for sports nutrition and performance supplementation, he naturally gravitated toward high-value functional ingredients. Sean worked extensively with Glanbia, specifically, on their market-leading portfolio. His early commercial success led Glanbia to recruit him directly to manage their Western North America territory.

 

Between 2007 and 2015, Sean earned multiple promotions across Glanbia’s enterprise, directing sales, distribution, and manufacturing operations spanning dairy derivatives, vitamins and minerals, custom blending, and ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage manufacturing. He also served on the core leadership team that built out an in-house flavor manufacturing plant while heading commercial sales. In 2015, Sean joined FrieslandCampina, the world’s largest dairy cooperative where he led the North American commercial sales team, expanding their regional footprint and strengthening global ingredient supply networks through 2017.

 

Throughout his career, Sean has anchored his work in building long-term, relationship-driven partnerships with customers and brand owners. In 2017, he leveraged his knowledge, experience, and relationships to found Stonyridge Ingredients, delivering high-tier raw material sourcing, responsive service, and technical formulation support to the nutrition industry.
